A message regarding your appointment and the Coronavirus,
With new developments of the Coronavirus, have come new recommendations from the MS Board of Dental Examiners. At this time, they are requesting that we reschedule all appointments that are non-emergent.
We will see the following patients:
- In pain
- Large decay causing pain
- Fractured teeth causing pain
- Root canals causing pain
- Emergency patients
- Oral surgery (tooth removal) causing pain
- Removable prosthesis causing pain
If you fall into one of these situations and wish to be seen, we will do our best to accommodate everyone. We do ask those who choose to come to the dental office practice take extra precautions such as:
- Only the patient come into the building (leaving all people accompanying the patient in the car)
- No hand shaking
- Try to stay 6 ft away from other people (for instance, sit 2 chairs between each other in the waiting room)
- Temperature scan upon arrival (to ensure all patients in the office are below 100.4 F)
- Hydrogen peroxide rinse upon arrival (proven to kill Coronavirus in case of carriers)
- If you have been coughing or sneezing, please reschedule your appointment
- If you do not feel well or have had a fever, please reschedule your appointment
Unfortunately, this means that patients will have to wait on non-emergent appointments such as basic fillings, routine cleanings, deep cleanings, and cosmetic procedures. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but in the long run this will greatly help flatten the curve of this infectious disease to
allow us to get through this much faster and more efficiently. We will be reaching out to you; however, please feel free to call us with any questions and/or to reschedule your appointments.
